Smiths Falls Town Council Meeting
on May 6, 2002 at 7:00 p.m.
Mayor Staples proclaimed May as Better Speech, Language and Hearing
Month in Smiths Falls.
Several of our children presented Smiths Falls Council each with a
Chocolate Bar to promote awareness and brochures.
The children also handed out mugs, pens & magnets to council
supplied
by Language Express.
Thanks to all the children, parents and Language Express for coming
to this event.

Proclamation

Reeve Gary Doyle proclaimed the month of May 2002 to be
Better Speech, Language and Hearing Month
in Montague Township and urged all citizens to show their support
for this most worthwhile cause.

Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)

Our SEAC representative handed out awareness bars to all the other
SEAC
members.
