How You Can Help!

Help OAFCCD increase public awareness about communication disorders by posting the poster
Why are Speech-Language Pathology Services Needed in Schools? in your office, or in a school or community location.

Or make copies of the Did You Know..... Handout and share with members of your church or service club.

If you know parents of young children, please share the flyer Trust Your Instincts.  Parents and family members are usually the first to be concerned about a child’s speech and language development.  This article provides information on when parents should be concerned and ask for help.

You can also print the OAFCCD Fact Sheet or a copy of the OAFCCD Brochure to share with families and community members.

Contact your M.P.P.  - we need the support of elected representatives if we are to ensure that there are adequate publicly funded services available for our children.  If you are willing to meet with an M.P.P., please contact Alison Morse at abmorse@kwic.com for a copy of the OAFCCD presentation kit and help with preparing for a meeting.
